Hello from Ludwig

Hi! I am Ludwig from Berlin. My interests lay in the intersection of social psychology, artificial intelligence, and immersive audio theatre. I am deeply curios about what it means to “klick” with others, to “be on one wavelength”, or in other words, have one of these moments where you feel intensely connected to others. On one hand I am investigating this state of “connectedness” by drilling through psychological research, on the other I am experimenting how moments of deep connectedness can be created in immersive audio theatre, with artistic means. If we give a group of people handphones and immerse them in a narrative, induce their bodily movements via a story, and for that seek inspiration in contemporary dance and experimental psychology, can connectedness be instrumentally created – like pressing a button? Do we as humans need agency for that, or - quite the opposite - we want to dissolve into a synchronous group? Does connectedness only emerge in moments where established schemas and systems break? I’m investigating these questions scientifically-artistically together with the audio theatre collective “Körperfunken”.
I’d be very curious to meet all of you and share playful experiences!
Best wishes from Berlin  Ludwig
